Half a year ago I traveled back to Senegal, my father’s homeland. I was searching for musical inspiration and for the meaning of my bicultural identity. What I experienced and discovered there, I captured through film and sound.

Now, six months later, I am sharing this story with you for the very first time through my film SERER. On November 1st, the premiere will take place at the Van Abbemuseum.
After the screening, we will continue the night with an afterparty in the museum café, hosted by Tasty Folk.
